LaserJet Pro M452dw issues

Hi,

We have a M452dw LaserJet Colour Printer that has a unique issue. 

When printing multiple pages, the printer likes to "shadow print" a second copy that makes it appear that the ink is low, but all toners are new.  Also, if it is a large number of pages, after the 3rd or 4th "shadow print", the printer will automatically decide it wants to clean itself.

I've ruled out this being a driver issue, as this is affecting 3 different machines, one of which never had the printer added until recently.

I've run the calibration and made sure everything was clean inside.

I've upgraded the firmware on the printer itself, same results.

Anyone have any idea how to resolve this or are we dealing with a hardware issue?

have you also tried to uninstall and reboot system and reinstalled the latest drivers for your printer?

To clarify, when you say shadow print, are you talking about toner being picked up and redeposited elsehwere on the page? If so, make sure that the media type on printer is set properly as this will affect how well the toner bonds to the paper. You can also try increasing the fuser temperature for plain paper to try and reduce this problem.

No - a second page comes out after the first, perfect print job, and is a almost blank page with very faint lettering on it, but an identical print job.

Bumping this thread as I have replaced the printer with a brand new one and the issue continues.  Anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?
