Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
I understand that the printer is stuck on initialization.
Don't worry I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
How long are you facing this issue
Have tried any troubleshooting steps?
Please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Unplug network cable, printer USB cable, power cable and wait for 30 seconds.
Step 2: Plug back power cable.
Step 3: Power on the printer and hit Copy And X (Cancel button above copy button) until it says permanent storage initialize.
If the issue persists, click here and update the latest virsion of the firmware if available.
Do get back to me as I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. Said that, if I have helped you resolve the issue.
If you like to appreciate my efforts clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'
Feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up'

The solution did not help because the screen never comes past the initialization, I can not see the cancel button or copy button because it is a touchscreen keypad and not the keyboard type, is there a different solution to this matter? Ill be more than happy to answer any more questions you may need to help me, thank you.

as indicated my printer will not proceed past initialization. I did receive a low ink message but the last copy was still quite did legible. when copying I was receiving a vertically lined page and I was told to clean the glass face which I did . the copy function now will not copy. can all this be related to low ink?
