I have a trouble with the printer. It starts from cold perfectly but, when on sleep mode, sometimes (about half the times) when it wakes up, there is an scanner error which lets it print, but prevents to go back to sleep mode, so it needs to be powered off and restarted. As I use 95% of the times only the printer part, it is a pity each time it needs to be restarted to get back the functionality.
The main error I get is this one: 30.01.41
Powering down the unit and restarting restores the functionality of both the printer and the scanner sections.
The unit uses the last firmware (4.6.0.1) but the problem happened also with previous version.
I have already reseated the formatter.
Any idea?
Thanks!
Jose

Hi EB5AGV,
30.01.41Scanner failure To continue, turn off then on
The formatter lost connection with the scanner control board or communication was corrupted.
Recommended action
1. Turn the printer off, and then on.
2. Ensure the printer is running the latest firmware from HP.com.
3. Ensure the printer’s voltage (110v or 220v) matches the supplied power.
4.If the error persists, reseat the formatter.
5. If the error persists, replace the scanner control board. For instructions: See the Repair Service Manual for this product. Part number: Flow M575c – Kit CSCB Flow Assembly CD644-67906 Non–Flow M575 Kit CSCB Assembly CD644-67929
6. If the error persists, elevate the issue using the Standard Support Process.
I hope this may help you,
Cheers!

Don't know if it works or not.

Thanks for your answers!
First, the printer had already the last firmware on it and the fault was present. And the prospect to replace a control board seemed to me as a too expensive (and non-ecological) option.
So I researched the problem and found a comment somewhere (sorry, I didn't note it!) regarding performing a Partial Clean via the preboot menu. I did it and, so far, the problem is gone!. I have just restarted the printer from sleep 5 or 6 times ,so the test is not yet conclusive, but I will let you know what happens in the long term.
Thanks!
Jose
