Valsimot - I am game, where to put the tape.. I checked the ITB & it turns, i pulled the ITB & checked the flag & it works, i checked the sensor sr17 & it flags and unflags properly, the drive mechanism makes a small gear clcking sound almost a buzz 30sec into initialization & again imediately before the 59:F0 error. other sources sugest replacing the drive mechanism.. what say you.. ? 🙂

I have exactly the same problem:

error 59,f0

substituted TB with a new one

the error remain

What can I do ?

Try to clean ITB area by compressed air - ITB sensor is located on right side below ITB, if not help, you have to fix fixing drive assy (RM1-4974-030CN) - problem is in solenoid on this drive, replace or fix it by cleaning and aplying tape on flag area

The solenoid that clicks on and off and turns the transfer belt and drive gearing is the issue.

Not the belt , or the left front sensor.   The solenoid is in a unit that is BURIED in the printer.  In the drive assy.

I took one apart to verify.  Problem is getting it out , cleaning the sticky substance that causes it to stick , then getting it back

together.  If not a pro , this may be too much to do and get it back together.

Anew belt is expensive and if fixes it , will reoccur since that usually isnt the real cause.
