When printing to our HP Laserjet Enterprise M806 the machine will gradually slow down when told to print on pre printed legal stock. This is pressure seal stock. I have many 9050's that are printing just fine as well as 4250's and P4015's that have no issues with these settings or with this stock.

Does anybody know of a solution to this issue?

I have tried all the basics. Updated firmware, used different drivers and even replaced the formatter board with the same result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There can be several reasons for this. The paper stock might be bleeding out heat from the fuser so the printer slows down to ensure proper bonding.  Having the fuser set for the wrong paper stock would add to this issue. Also keep in mind that this series uses a different fuser design than the older 9000 series (ceramic vs halogen bulb). Make sure you do not have quiet mode enabled as this will limit page speed as well.

Thank you for responding. I have several machines in use that used a sleeved fuser without any lagging issues whatsoever. I was intending on replacing my old 9000's with the M806 series. I've matched the paper settings and even with just plain legal size paper running the machine will gradually slow down to about 15 or 20 ppm. The p4015 uses a sleeved fuser and that rips through the same print jobs without any issues. So will the 4250 and the 4200.
