Laserject 4200tn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have my LJ4200tn running as a network printer in my office.  Several months ago the printer started seemingly randomly printing gibberish on occasion.  The printed document catch would often be full of such print outs when I arrived at the office in the morning.  The printer is left on at night but all of my computers are turned off.  Turning the printer off and back on again resolves the problem temporarily.  A few days later the problem repeats itself.  I purchased a replacement LJ4200 assuming that the problem was in the printer.  The replacement printer experienced the same issue.  I have deleted and re-installed the drivers on all of the computers in the office.  Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?

99% of 49 errors can be traced to either outdated firmware or out dated drivers being used. A 49 error indicates that the printer received data it did not understand. Check the firmware date code in the configuration page to the current firmware at support.HP.com. Note that the date will be fairly old as this printer has not been updated in years. Error can also be triggered if a job is sent with a completely wrong driver such as a Xerox or Ricoh driver.
