Hi. I have the LaserJet MF1212nf for many years and works without issue until yesterday when I downloaded driver package from HP support website to install on Windows 10 system. It attempted to update firmware whilst installing drivers and since then the machine has been in an initializing loop and continuously reboots. Kindly assist?

Bad formatter needed to be replaced.
Or baked it in the oven to see if it can be saved back.

If you had updated firmware and failed than the formatter might be broken. If so bakes it won't help.
Try to run NVRAM first if fails then re-send firmware through USB cable if it works you can save it back.
During re-sending firmware if it works properly you'll see processing on the front panel and if it's not then you need to change the connected port from usb001 to usb002 003... respectively until you can see things changing on th front panel.
Send firmware once will be enough don't re-send more than once.
If after firmware re-sended successfully but still doesn't work then it's really a bad formatter needed to be replaced.
