Laserjet M507
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

We have newly installed a Laserjet M507 with Tray 1,2 and 3

When we empty Tray 2, it will not continue to print from Tray 3. Both are same format & type

Dialogue on PC says it's printing, but it's not

How can we fix the continous print from Tray 3 if Tray 2 are empty ?

On your computer is paper source set to the specific tray like tray 2 or to automatic. If you have set on your computer to print from tray 2 change it to automatic.

Standard expected operation of this machine is that it if tray 3 and 2 have the same size and type of paper it will feed from tray 3 first and then tray 2. If that is not the case then either tray 3 is faulty or your program is set to print from a specific tray. Check the tray behaviour settings and make sure that print from specified tray option is set to first and not exclusively.
