Hi,

I'm trying to connect my printer to the network, but despite being plugged into my router the config report shows that the network cable is disconnected. So far I have tried using another cable, using another port on the router, plugging the printer power cable directly into the wall, and resetting the NVRAM.

Is there any obvious I could be missing? Or anything less obvious I could try?

Thank you in advance!

Try changing the network connection speed from auto negotiate to a manually defined 100base full duplex.

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately changing that setting did not fix the problem. My suspicion now is that it is a hardware problem.

Does the network card show as active in the configuration pages? I have had this happen a couple of times with my wife's 451 and manually configuring the network did work for me. Also make sure none of the contacts in the connector on the printer is damaged.
