I have the above device and cannot access the printer web page to reconfigure the device.
Any recommendations on a method to factory reset or recover the password so I might reconfigure the device for a new enviornment?
Thanks in advance.

Good Day. Thank you for posting your query in the HP community. I read the post regarding issues with connecting the printer to the router because of admin password issues. I will be delighted to assist you here.
Superb description and spectacular troubleshooting and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this:
- Did this happen after changing your router or ISP?
For now, try these steps:
- Please restore factory defaults on the printer by following the steps from the user guide: http://hp.care/2CxQfkA (refer to page#73) on how to do it.
- Then perform all the prescribed steps from this link: http://hp.care/2EK0vM2 (HP LaserJet M102-M106 Printers - Wireless Printer Setup (Mac) to set up the printer on the wireless network.
- Now check for issue resolution.
- For resolving wireless issues refer to pages 93-97 of the user guide.
If the issue continues, I will give steps on how to perform an NVRAM reset to factory settings by sending a private message. Please check your Forum private message box for a message from me.
Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
Take care and have a blessed week ahead. 🙂
Cheers!

Hi, DavidSMP.
I setup my printer a week or two ago, set a password and can now no longer remember it.
I'm having issues printing to it wirelessly and want to reset it back to it's factory state.
Problem is I can't log into the embedded web server to action this as I can't remember my password.
Could you please send me the instructions on how to perform the NVRAM reset you mentioned to the OP?
Thank you

@erdcck, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps!
