MFP M477fnw

As stated I have a MFP M477fnw which is suddenly printing yellow, magenta and cyan in faded tones. I am using third party cartridges, however internal pages such as demo and diagnostics pages seem to print just fine.

The problem persists after:

  • Installation on 3 different computers
  • 3 different operating systems
  • Updated drivers
  • Updated firmware
  • Used universal print driver
  • Used the cleaning function
  • Used the color calibration function
  • Hard reset on device

I've reached out to support who closed the case after stating it was a software issue unrelated to the printer. However, it doesn't seem to matter which program/OS/computer/USB Drive I'm printing from, the issue is consistent throughout.

Any suggestions outside of what I've tried?

Thanks!

Print out something directly that is faded. By posting a scanned and printed image you are introducing the scanner as a possible source of the problem.
