Hi, i have been experiencing phantom rear paper jams. Many other people on the forum have had the same issue. I've spent a ton of time analyzing it with no solution. similar [edit]

Hi @laserjetboy

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To better assist you -

1) What's the paper size and type that you are trying to print on?

2) May I have the exact model name of the printer? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

While you respond to that, I'd suggest try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for step by step instructions - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Have a great day!

Hi it is standard printer paper, 8.5/11 maybe? Laserjet 200 color m276nw I have tried everything, right now i cannot even install the firmware/drivers again because it prompts the issue that there is paper stuck in rear, which is not accurate. Ive seen this issue in the form and no one seems to have a solution, is there a solution for this? I do not want to pay for additional tech support, especially if it won't work, i am out of warranty. i need to know if i need to get a new printer or if there is a way to fix this one.
