facing following issue with Color Laser Jet MFP177fw:
Want to install the latest released FW-patch from HP support space with 20180208 (29. May 2018) from a W10 computer.
Once excecuting the local stored installer, then the GUI gives hints that the printer connection is disturbed, and the update can not be continued any longer, see screenshot below,
1. connected to computer (yes checked, also with HP Print & Scan Doctor the connectivity is successful!!!)
2. Switched on (yes really funny question 😉
3. blocked paper, open printer housings, or missing paper (everything is well, only the toner drum has still remaining approx. 10% capacity - did this not determined as an cause)
So, once clicking onto "Start again" button, the same dialog appears again and again.
What is the reason for this descriped system behaviour as I do not get a valuable hint on the support pages for this specific issue.
Is there anybody who can help me to cope this case, please?

Any chance you can connect via a wired network and try the update that way?

No, no chance to connect via WiFi. After starting the installer, there is no question which connection method shall be used. As this question is maybe asked for the HP Print + Scan Doctor. At last the connection works, but not for FW-installer.
And the tool seems only work with USB-Method, because as written in the screenshot, see attachement.
Also testet several times and combination with-/ without WiFi. Nothing changes the result, regretably.
Do you have any other idea?
