Hi

I have followed advice in the forum but at a loss to understand what to do next.

The printer is no longer recognised by my computer. No changes to wireless settings, the Wireless test on the printer states no problems and full connection to the network.

I did the following from: https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05087973

Step 1: Perform a power reset and check connections
Step 2: Make sure the printer is connected to the network
  1. For wireless connections, make sure Wi-Fi is turned on the laptop/tablet, and make sure you are connected to the correct wireless network (SSID).
  2. Print a configuration page or network summary and make sure the printer has valid IP address.
  3. Open a Web browser, and in the address field, type the printer IP address exactly as it appears on the Configuration Page, press Enter, and then select Continue to this website….
    • If the Embedded Web Server (EWS) opens, the printer is connected to the network. Continue to Step 3: Check the ‘Use printer offline’ setting.
    • If the EWS does not open, then continue to the next step.
  4. Test network communication by pinging the network using a command prompt.
    1. Select Start, select Run, and then type cmd to open a command-line prompt.
    2. Type ping and then type the IP address for the printer.
NOTE:
If you've been experiencing intermittent loss of network connectivity, then update the printer firmware. For instructions on how to update the firmware for an HP LaserJet Pro printer, go to Update the firmware (c03754273).
Step 3: Check the 'Use printer offline' setting
Step 4: Make sure the Wi-Fi settings were not recently changed
Step 5: Used HP Print and Scan Doctor
Step 6: Reset the default print driver
Step 7: Make sure the correct port is selected
Step 8: Reset the driver configuration in Windows

Step 9: Remove and reinstall the driver/software

Any thoughts? The only thing that happened that I can think of was a planned WIndows 10 upgrade - I uninstalled this but the problem has persisted.
