Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have the same issue as at least these two threads:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/M1217nfw-mfp-keeps-restarting-endlessly/td-...

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Archive-Read-Only/HP-M1217nfw-keeps-restarting/td-p/2503613

I've factory resetted the printer and moved it to another plug (it's not a power issue), it restarts as soon as a print job is sent to it...

but it seems the print job still comes out in between the restarting, like it remembers the print job somehow, even when the queue is empty on the computer side.

It seems to have happened after the latest firmware update (2019 Dec 13) LJM1130_M1210_FW_Upgrade_Security-20180302

There is no solution on the other threads - can there be any solution for this or any work on an update to fix the firmware at least?

I hope you can help,

D

Try to perform NVRAM and re-sending old firmware again to see if it helps or not.

I've done the NVRAM reset, didn't change anything.

But, do you have an older version of the firmware?

The other thing I noticed with the firmware I downloaded from the HP site, the date says 2019, but the actual file downloaded says the file was signed in 2018?
Perhaps the actual firmware update they meant to released wasn't uploaded and it's actually just the old version with a new webpage?
