M15A
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Today my HP m15a  updated firmware and after that asks to use CF248A cartridges (USA region). The problem is that i live in Europe and been using CF244A cartridges before. Tried to do firmware downgrade but with printer still want to use CF248A cartridges. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Did you also buy the Printer in Europe or the same country the Printer is in currently?

Let us know 🙂

Thanks 🙂

Hi,

Yes, i bought it in EU to be exact in Lithuania. And i was using it here for about 2y and during this time changed at least 15 cartridges CF244A.

That is strange.

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Remove the inks.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet. Insert the ink.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
