We purchased this printer hoping to use it to print photos.  What photo paper is recommended for use in this printer?

@SusyJ

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw and would like to know what photo paper is supported by this printer. I'll surely help you with this.

I did some research on this printer model and found the paper handling specifications. I see that this printer does not support photo paper. Please refer to "Paper-handling specifications."

I hope this answers your question. Feel free to reach out for any questions. Cheers!

Wait a minute - this is from the data sheet for this printer model:

Paper (brochure, inkjet, plain), photo paper (borderless, HP premium, panoramic, plus tab), envelopes, labels, cards (greeting, index), transparencies

I bought this printer with the assumption that, after reading the data sheet as well, that it could handle photo paper.

Every type of photo paper I use ends up having 1/3rd the photo printed normally, and then unexpectedly it looks like it stops applying the same density of ink on the remaining 2/3rds. I can't seem to find a fix anywhere. I've tried from both tray 1 and tray 2. Same issue. I tried from different programs on the Mac. Same issue.

Any suggestions?
