Try a cold reset 

 

LCD control panel models: Simultaneously press and hold the right arrow button and the Cancel button. Keep these buttons depressed as you turn the product on. - Touchscreen control panel models: Press and hold the lower right quadrant of the touchscreen. Keep the quadrant depressed as you turn the product on.

Does this error appear on the computer or on the screen of the printer? If on the printer is there an error number code? You may simply be trying to print a document that is too complex for the amount of memory the printer contains.
