It depends if the duplex is set as default on the printer itself or the print driver is set to duplex. When you go to print if you look at properties does it show duplex print selected? If yes then likely the driver default is set for duplex and needs to be changed. I do not use or support Apple products so I cannot advise on that. If it is not set there then likely the printer is set to duplex and you will need to go through the setup menus in the control panel of the printer and turn off duplex. Printing a menu map will help you find the location of that setting.

Thank you so much for responding. In properties on the printer webpage, it does show that duplex is selected. The problem is, when I "unselect" it defaults back to duplex. I don't know how to change the driver default (unless that is the webpage), nor do I know how to go through the setup panels - I spent an hour trying to go through and could not find that option on the panel itself. And I don't know how to print a menu map. I feel like the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz - "I'm a failure because I haven't got a brain"!

Hi,
Follow these steps to disable two-sided printing:
Open the file you would like to print. From the File menu select Print. The Print window appears.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.
Click the Settings drop-down, it will usually appear as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
Select Layout from the drop-down menu.
Set the Two-Sided option as Off.
You may save the settings as a preset by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...
By doing so and completing the print job these settings will remain default till another preset will be used in the future.
Regards,
Shlomi
