Printer will intermittently give 13.00.ff Jam in tray 2 errors after the print job is complete.  Troubleshooting sensors show all sensors are working and recognized by the printer. I updated the firmware as an initial step and no change in behavior. A review of the event log shows the errors up until about 10 days ago.  Initial thought was to replace the DC control board which I did.  Symptoms did not change but now the errors are logged as new roller in tray 1.  So I replaced the DC controller.  Again, no change in behavior.  Random/intermittent 13.00.ff errors in tray 2 after the print job completes.   There is an additional tray installed.  as well as the pedestal base.

At this point I am at a loss of where the errors could be generated from.  Printing from any tray 1,2 or 3 will give the error from tray 2.  Latest firmware is installed.

Looking for any kind of assistance would be helpful.

Hello
From the problem description, if it is an on-site repair, it is recommended to handle it in the following order
1. Remove all accessory trays and only keep the host for testing
Replace Tray 2 Pickup Roller
Replace Tray 2 Separation Roller
4. Check the return status of Tray 2 Pickup Sensor Flag
5. Check the Tray 2 paper path connection harness
6 View Service Mode Jam Counter
Finally considering replacing the Tray 2 Sensor Assembly
Thank you
