LaserJet M607
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello:

I have recently added another 550-sheet paper tray to our LaserJet M607 (Tray 3). I would like to have printing automatically continue when either Tray 2 or Tray 3 runs out of paper. Both trays use standard 8.5x11 plain paper. Currently, the printer starts printing from Tray 3 but when it runs out of paper you need to answer a prompt on the touchscreen to move to Tray 2. There must be a way for it to automatically switch?

Thank you.

If both trays are set for the same size and type of paper it should happen with the default settings. If that is not working your will need to go to tray configuration and change the "use requested Tray" setting from exclusively to first.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by giving kudos and marking my post as an accepted solution.
