You can try formatting the internal drive and reloading the current firmware. This is done in the administration menu from the preboot menu. The firmware readme for the current firmware gives directions on accessing the preboot menu. Basically you power on the device and either press the ok button for non-touch screen models or touch the HP logo on touch screen models when a black like appears under the logo on the display.
