M806

Hello All,

My 806 was running then went blank. I found the main 10A fuse was blown. I did replace it and it powered up went through the checks, got the home screen then it blew. Could the fuser be causing this?

Possibly, I would replace the fuse, remove the fuser and power the unit up. If it completes boot and stays on but prompts for fuser then fuser may be bad. If it blows the fuse even with the fuser removed then there is other issues. Have you changed the fuser lately? Did this error start after any notable events either maintenance on printer or an electrical issue such as a brown out or surge?
