LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 PCL 6 appears offline and I can not seem to be able to add the printer by wireless connection.  This occurred after I upgraded to higher speed Comcast router.  When I go to add a printer if finds DIRECT-70-HP M277 LaseJet and I do get a code from the printer's touch screen.  After it connects it says "Driver is unavailable"  I tried loading the driver but the diver I found is the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277 PCL 6,  so I'm not sure if this is the correct diver.  when I try to load this drive, it will not find my printer.   The driver will load if I connect with USB and printer will work through USB.   I also read that I should reconfigure network defaults on the printer but the instruction provided by HP for touchscreen does not apply correctly for my model.  I did try to reset my printer by turning it off then on while press the screen for a minute.  Not sure it went to factory default, the message "Permanent Storage init" appeared, but the wireless icon appeared the same but connection was off.  I reconnected to network but that did not solve the problem.  I should see two networks but only see one.  I'm hesitant to try it again.   I'm pretty sure this problem is from the router upgrade.   Is it possible the router upgrade causing the printer to use a different name and maybe HP hasn't pushed out the driver yet?  I also saw something in the HP community forum form Oct 2018 about going into the cmd window and enter  printui.exe /s   then removing drivers from there and reinstalling printer software.   I just need good direction.  Please help.

Problem has been resolve.  The following steps were take:

1.). Unplugged printer and computer

2.). Unplugged Router

3.) plugged in router and allowed it to reboot approx 15 minutes.

4.) rebooted computer

5). Uninstalled the hp printer software and updates for printer.

6). Rebooted printer and held screen to reset WiFi connection.  Made sure both computer and printer was connected to same network name.  Some internet modems/routers provide more than one networks.  For some reason my printer only sees one but my computer see two of my networks.  Just made sure they were connecting to same network name.

7.) used the HP printer scanner toolbox (installed previously) and Wa-La, it found the printer, installed driver and driver found printer and configured the printer.  All is good with wireless printer.

Hope this help to those who may have I countered similar problem after upgrading router.
