Hi, I am trying to set up my MFP M28w with a different computer (MacBook Air) and wifi network and it's just not working... To begin with, the power light keeps flashing while the wifi light is not responding at all and the letter HP are flashing in the little screen. I connect the printer to the laptop by usb and it is recognized but if I send any print job, I get the message "printer not connected".
Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Printer not Responding" issue.
To better assist you - What's the MacOS version installed? To find the version, from the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You'll see the macOS name, such as macOS Mojave, followed by its version number.
While you respond to that, please try these steps to reset the printer -
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
