Hello,
I have a MFP M477fdn which is a great all-in-one machine. Nevertheless, the OCR scanning does not work with Cyrillic text. It tries to OCR the document using latin letters and you get jubberish.
I've seen HP Scan/OCR devices to work with Cyrillic just fine. Please help me to add cyrillic in the OCR fonts.
Thanks.
Mladen

Hi Mladen,
Have you set the proper OCR language?
From HP Scan select Save as Editable Text (OCR).
Click on More and select the Destination tab.
Click the File Type drop down menu, then set the OCR Language as required, any supported language can be selected from that menu.
Click OK, press the save icon for the shortcut and scan.
