HI..
If you want to reset on the printer adminnistrator password please follow the below steps to reset.
Touchscreen Keypad, and/or Standard display : Administration > Network Settings > Jetdirect Menu OR Embedded Jetdirect Menu
Touchscreen : Administration > Initial Setup > Networking and I/O > Embedded Jetdirect
SECURITY, select RESET SECURITY, and then select Yes.
NOTE: Depending on the control panel type, you might need to also select Save.

- Turn the product on.
- The HP logo displays on the product control panel. When a "1/8" with an underscore displays below the HP logo, touch the logo to open the Preboot menu.
- Use the down arrow
button to highlight the Administrator item, and then touch the OK button.
- Use the down arrow
button to highlight the Startup Options item, and then touch the OK button.
- Use the down arrow
button to highlight the Cold Reset item, and then touch the OK button.
- Touch the HomeProduct will initilize once above steps are performed .
