That message is usually generated when you have selected duplex printing but printer does not have a duplex unit installed and so it wants the pages refed so that it can print the other side of the pages. If you did not want the duplex printing, clear the print queue on your computer (cancel that print job) and restart the printer to clear the message.

Hi, how can we eliminate this prompt on an HP Enterprise Flow MFP M528?
We have users showing us that this happens anytime they print from Onbase (A windows application). It does not happen otherwise.
The print driver shows No for print on both sides (manually) under print defaults.

The default would be overridden by commands from the application. Check the setup for the software you are using to make sure it is not asking for duplexing. Also check printing preferences on the driver as they will override default settings.
