The printer is stuck in initializing. I have unplugged and plugged back in but this has not worked. I am plugged into the wall outlet and not a surge protector so full power being received.  This is a brand new printer now stuck!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's reset the Printer to his factory settings:

1. From the product control panel, press the Setup button. 2. Open the Service menu. 3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then touch the OK button. The product automatically restarts.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
