M426fdn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep having problems with my fleet of m402/426 prints suddenly developing a major delay while printing. Prints will clear the queue on the PC, then a few minutes later the printer will print a page, then sit, then print another page after a 10-15 second pause. This makes large print jobs pretty much impossible

I've found multiple bandaide solutions like rebooting the PC, rebooting the printer, printing as draft, switching print drivers, reinstalling print drivers, updating firmware. But the issue keeps returning, it seems like something specific to these printers and I just can't nail down what the issue might be.

Any one found a solution for this issue, it seems like there are quite a few other people having the same problem.

Recent windows 10 updates have caused havoc with printers.

I would normally seeing microsofts current track record with windows 10 updates, but we've been having the same issue with these printers and windows 7 as well. and it's only effecting these 2 models from the same series.
