During consecutive printing multiple paper pick up problem arises.

The most common cause of multiple pick issues is a worn or dirty pickup roller and separation pad, a sticking pickup solenoid or paper that is stuck together.  If you remove the paper and look at the roller at the back of the paper cavity it normally will be a grey color and have finger prints on it.  To see it well, you may need to remove the toner cartridge and look at the roller through the toner cartridge cavity.

The type of multiple pick will also give a clue to the cause. Are there several pages stuck together or is it that there is one page being picked up right after the next so that it appears there is a long train of pages all overlapped? If it is a long train then likely the solenoid is sticking and needs to have the old foam bumper cleaned off and replaced. You will find various videos on youtube on how to do this.

If pick-up roller has to turn 2 or 3 times to get paper in then you have to replace or clean the pick-up roller.

If two or more papers got into printer at the same time then you need to replace the separation pad.

If paper got into printer one after the other even you only want to print only one page then you have a so called sticky solenoid problem.

According to what you've said you should have a sticky solenoid problem.
