I lost the ability to scan to .pdf when I upgraded my PC. My old machine was Windows 7, 32-bit. The new is Windows 7, 64-bit. Yes; I have the LaserJet 3055.
If you read the HP Drivers support site, it instructs users to install the Windows Vista full solution. That set of drivers provides the full features of the LJ 3055 in the Windows 7 -32 bit environment. But, the drivers page specifically states it cannot be used in the 64-bit environment.

I am also getting the same error, I tried with Windows fax and scan also. There is no option to change the source , Feedere option is only availbale.

Dear sir, Good Morning, I am having all in one Hp Laserjet printer model 3055. All functions are working except scanning.
Even now printing, coping working properly. I lost my cd drivers and i request you to suggesst to retrive scanning options. Using windows 7 32 bit laptop..Thanks tsrk prasad mob 9640413636. S.No. CNRK343318

also got error message 'please insert originals in automatic document feeder and please retry again' when scan thought network, even used Win7 32-bit scan function, even using "Vista service pack 2 compatability option" install successfully.
No matter for program HP Scan, Windows Scan and Fax and MS Paint, all shown above error.
Tried to load the paper from the ADF but no help. Anyone had idea on this?
