As the printer is working with an alternate computer it says this is not a hardware issue.

This could be an issue with the operating system.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10 using this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-acc...

Then, try installing the drivers and check if this helps you out.

Have a great day!

Cheers:)

Raj, I did what you suggested (administrator account), and low and behold, the printer is now working.  I have no idea what changed, because I've been doing all the same stuff each time, but something must have been different.

Thanks for your patience and assistance.  It's taken some time, but all is well (for the moment as I keep my fingers crossed.)

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Unfortunately, the success was short-lived.  The printer is now not working again.

Any additional thoughts??
