Hello KrazyToad, thanks for wanting to help me. I can make photocopies, no problem. I
work on a Macbook and for the first year my printer didn't give me any problems. I order my printingcasettes at 123Inkt, a large online company. They advised me to use their housebrand casettes. I think the problems started then. I have now an HP black ink casette, but the coloured ones still the 123inkt brand. I wonder if this causes the problems. I can print al kind of things (diagnostic page and stuff like that) from the menu on the printer itself, the problem is just all the time with things I send from my macbook.
Of course I tried switching of and on. And I tried the button 'service' and 'restore defaults'. When I do this, the printer prints ONE document perfectly. The second document... codes again...
Hope you can find out what the problem is.
greetings, Worry

Syntaxerror is a post script error typically seen while printing PDF files.
Are you printing a PDF file?
Which application are you using to print. Eg: Adobe, Preview?

You are welcome! Let's try removing the existing printer driver and then setting up the printer with Apple AirPrint. Here is how to do it:
Please ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with it's software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:
1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
4.) Click the plus sign , click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint or Secure AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
6.) Try to print.
Let me know how it goes!
