HELP:

My all in one printer just started making copies all by itself. I haven't downloaded any software onto my Mac.  I tried to reset to default on my printer.  It is password protected. I am thinking the software on the printer has a virus or the ok button is sticking.   It doesn't feel like its sticking, it clicks like the rest of the buttons.  Any thoughts?  Thanks,

@lwilson2004, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • How is the printer connected, wireless/USB?
  • What copies are getting printed? Could you share a picture of the printed document?
  • Did you make any changes to the printer recently?

Meanwhile, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Keep me posted for further assistance.
