Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've looked at all the various post for the issue of my m1217 suddenly an permanently displaying "No strings in RO". I have reinstalled, attempted the firmware update with no luck. It seems there is a solution out there but most the comments on this topic ended with a HP agent privately messaging a solution. It seems like I need to reset the printer but it is tuck in NO STRING and will not communicate with my comp via WIFI or USB.  Has anyone actually recovered their printer from this?

After being seeing your post i google  "No strings in RO" but i can't find anything really works.

It looks to me that it is the formatter which is broken and if all tries are useless i'll try to replace the formater.
