I have a new Laserjet Pro MFP M130fw and need to run it on a limited basis with a 12v system in a commercial truck. Does anyone make an inverter that produces enough of the 'right kind(?)' of power for this?

It's not recommended to use printer over inverter, your printers power consumption during printing is 255 watts if you are able to get a power inverter to 220V that can give 300 watts output it will probably work.
If you invest a little more money you can buy a mobile inkjet printer that is designed to be used in cars, trucks and similar.

My usage is so limited, it is probably 1 hour or less every few days, and would be with the engine running.
I bought this printer to replace an inkjet MFP because A) I never need to print in color, B) The ink cartridges seem to leak too often, creating a mess inside the printer and C) this mess leads to crappy print quality...
