New Asus laptop says driver not installed for HP 1102 printer. I have downloaded latest driver.

Thank you for being so patient with me. I figured out what was wrong. After downloading the Full Solution/driver, the installation is supposed to take place. I assumed it was happening behind the scenes, but it wasn't. I finally opened the folder of the Full Solution and ran hp.setup. Then it really installed, I followed the wizard, and everything was fine. I wonder if this should be included in the instructions.
