Recently upgraded router.  Recently upgraded Mac OS.  Tried to run Wireless Wizard.  Discovered I didn’t have Admin Privileges, so can’t run Wireless Wizard.  HOW DO I CHANGE ADMIN PRIVILEGES?

You may want to post this on a Apple specific board as this sounds like an OS question not a printer problem.

I can do what you suggest, however, I am attempting to: 1) run Wireless Wizard a software provided by HP; and 2) attempting to make myself an Admin of an HP printer.  If HP failed to update their software protocols to work seamlessly with the new Apple OS release, it isn’t an Apple issue.  It’s an HP issue.  Apple doesn’t check to ensure HP has done it’s job with each of their OS releases.  Am I missing something?

Hi,

Do you refer to running a Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer screen?

Using an Admin PPrivilegesterm for a prnter is quite confusing and therefore seems like you refer to your computer.

ShlomiL:  Wireless Wizard on the printer screen is not accessible (it is grayed out). The message says that I don’t have Admin privileges.  BTW, I see no envelope on your message so I can’t view your private message.

Hi,

See the envelope icon on the top header of the forum, in the right side of the page, near your user avatar, not on the top of my message
