Hi @Pscharlie,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP Printer is having a connectivity issue after changing to the new Wifi.

If your printer has a touchscreen:

  1. Place the printer near the router and turn it on.

  2. On the printer, open Wireless or Setup.

  3. Select Network Setup or Settings > Restore Network Settings.

  4. Open Wireless Setup Wizard.

  5. Select your Wi‑Fi network and enter the password.

  6. If Wireless Setup Wizard is not available, use WPS from the printer menu instead.

  7. You can also print a Wireless Network Test Report from the Wireless/Network menu to check connection issues.

If your printer does not have a touchscreen:

You can reconnect using one of these methods:

Option 1: HP app

  1. Restore Wi‑Fi setup mode on the printer.

  2. Install and open the HP app on your computer or mobile device.

  3. Use the app to add and connect the printer to your Wi‑Fi network.

Option 2: WPS

  1. Place the printer near the router.

  2. Put the printer in WPS mode:

    • On many models, press and hold the Wi‑Fi button for about 5 seconds until the light flashes.

    • On some HP DeskJet 6000/6400, ENVY 6000/6400, and Tango models, press and hold Wi‑Fi + Power for 3 seconds until the light flashes.

  3. Within 2 minutes, press and hold the WPS button on the router.

  4. Wait until the wireless light stops flashing.
