HP LJ MFP M134fn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Put the printer, assigned it a network address and a name, installed on a laptop with an operating system of Windows 10 LTSB. We send to the print and silence..... And so is any document, table. What to do? Updated the firmware - the result is the same. Indicates that there are 0 documents in the print queue. And the same problem occurs when installing print through the usb-port. Is this a printer problem or do I need to install something into the system? Bought two such printers and not one does not work. Neither through the network, nor through the usb-port.

Sorry for my english, im from Ukraine.

Hi @Ruslan75,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to print from your HP LaserJet Ultra MFP M134fn.

This issue could occur if the pause printer or “use printer offline” option is checked in the printer driver settings.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here are a few steps listed below:

1. Turn the printer off and on, and then make sure it is in a ready state.

2. Search Windows for devices, and then click Devices and Printers in the list of results.

3. Find the icon for the printer you originally installed.

4. Right-click the icon for the default printer, and then select See what's printing. The print queue window opens.

5. Click Printer. If a checkmark displays next to Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline, click each item to remove the checkmark. Try to print.

Also, I suggest that you follow the steps in the link: Printer is Offline (Windows)

Note: Please ignore steps 1 in the above document as it is not related to laserjet printers.

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.

Printer is NOT OFFLINE, on the screen says it's ready. Print jobs are sent to print, but the printer only shows it is ready and does not print.

Solution: reinstalling the operating system on Windows 8.1.

And do not say that this printer is supported in Windows 10.

Dear Sir / Ms /  Mdm,

I'm encountering the same issue here.

Printer Model : Hp LaserJet Pro M203dn

Windows : Win 10 LTSB

Problem : Unable to print from any source. Tried through Printer properties also failed.

Error Message : Test Print Failed

Solutions that i have tried : Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver - no go

Stop print spooler service - no go

change USB cables - no go

Other people are able to print to this printer using printer sharing through network but not able to print from the main PC the printer is installed.

I hope that you will reply soon, as i am out of idea on how to solve this issue.

Solution

go to security tab of  %temp% folder and grant access to "Everyone". if "everyone" is not there, then "add" "everyone" into the security tab.
