Colour Laser Jet Pro - MFPM477FDN
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello! Problems with my new printer. Was trying to print a custom size and I place in wrong card stock so print was a bit messy so I changed the card stock but then when it printed it printed the error. After that any other prints would not work. The error again as follows:

PCL XL Error , Subsystem GE, Error: InternalError 0x89, File Name jetReadyImage.c, Line Number 3203, Now after printing that it will not print at all on any size of paper. The printer is a Colour Laser Jet Pro MFPM477FDN

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

It's very common to see a PCL XL error with HP's printers when using WORD,Excel/PDF printing........

It's a driver problem you can try to use PS driver if using PCL6 now and keep both of them on print list.

Each time when you have problem with PCL6 then change to use PS printer.

If there's PCL5 driver it may be useful too.

Another way to avoid this problen you can use another PDF app. if you're using Adobe Reader now it alwaysl helps.

Change youe WORD ,Excel output from directing print out to PDF file first then print that PDF file out may be help too.
