The message"HP LaserJet Pro MFP M329 PCL-6 (V4) (Network) is in an error state" usually means that Windows can see the printer, but the printer is either reporting a problem or is not communicating properly with the computer.
Please try the following:
Check the printer's control panel for any error messages, paper jams, low toner warnings, or open covers. Power off the printer, wait about 60 seconds, then turn it back on.
Restart the computer as well.
Verify that the printer is still connected to the network and that both the printer and computer are on the same network.
Open the print queue and cancel any stuck print jobs.
Remove and re-add the printer in Windows, or reinstall the HP driver if the problem continues.
To help identify the cause, please let us know:
Can you print directly from the printer's control panel (Configuration Report or Test Page)?
Is there any error message displayed on the printer itself?
Are you using Wi‑Fi or Ethernet network connection?
With that information, we can provide more specific troubleshooting steps.
