Laser Jet Pro M252dw making loud banging noise; and I do mean loud!

When does it make the noise? When printing or if you open and close the front door? It's really hard to say what it might be without looking at it in person, but here's some things to try.

Remove all of the toner cartridges and close the door. The printer should run for a bit, checking for the toners and basic function. If it makes the noise without the cartridges, then it could be the ITB (Intermediate Transfer Belt), the fuser, or something in the main drive assy.

If however, it doesn't make the noise now without the cartridges, start putting them in, one by one, until it makes the noise, then it's likely that the last toner you put in that is the problem. Replace that cartridge.
