Hi,

I am on the end of my way to reactivated my PRO M12w with HP ePrint. I don't konw why I lost my conections. I had Restart and reset my Printer and Restart and  reset my Fritz.box AVM Router, too. But I don't reactivate my (Webdienste) ePrint Service, when I activate my ePrint he lost the Connection to the HP Server and the failure Massage say that my Printer is offline. But when print  the Test/Status Page is the Printer online and with my Laptop I can Print with WLAN.  My first Printer Claim (Berechtigungscode) is lost. the last page I have Print was in 01.2020. By my first activation I have Change the Printer-email Adress but this Adress is not found in the Database from HP when I used HP Smart APP. And a new Printer Can't I Register, because I can'tactivate my Printer. All Help Threads have I read and have all finshed, BUT my Printer get no Connection to HP, but he is online. And when I send a MAil to my normal Printer Mail Adress, get I the HPePrinter Mail, but only my Printer is silent.

What could I do now?

Is my Printers Connection tool broken? Has HP stop the Support for this Printer?

THanks Joerge

Hi @joerge,

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "How to connect to HP web services".

Try the steps below to find the printer claim code-

To find your Printer Claim Code, print a Web Services Information page from the printer's built-in webpage.

  1. Send a test print job from any device on your network to make sure the printer is connected and can print.

    NOTE:

You cannot use Web Services or get your Printer Claim Code if your printer is not connected to your wireless network. A USB connection does not work.

  2. Type the printer IP address into a web browser on any device connected to your network to open the printer's built-in website.

To find your printer IP address:

    • From the touchscreen control panel: Touch the Wireless icon .

    • From the HP Smart app: Click Printer Settings, and then click Printer Information.

    • From the printed network report: Press the Information button to print an information page.

  3. From the printer website, find the Web Services menu, and then click Print Info Page or Print Information Sheet.

  4. Find the Printer Code or Printer Claim Code on the page that prints.

If the information page only has the printer's email address, remove and then re-enable Web Services. A new information page prints with the Claim Code.

  5. Add your printer to an HP Smart account using the Printer Claim Code.

If an Invalid Claim Code or other error message displays, remove and then re-enable Web Services before trying again.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Jay_24,

Thanks for your help, but all the steps I have finished befor I ask here in this Community.
My Printer is online, I can Print from My Laptop In My WiFi, I can get into the Printers EWS with the IP Adress. But when I will activate the Webservice it’s load, but After 3-4 Seconds I get a failure Massage that My Printer is offline, The Blue Wifi LED glow stable at this moment.
The Printer had  get the Last Firmware, and was reset at delivery Status.  But I get Every
Time that My Printer is Not Online.
your steps are for My Problem Not the Solution I Need.

Thank you for replying.

Check the network and printer connection status to resolve the Webservice connectivity issue

Make sure your wired (Ethernet) or wireless network is working correctly and the printer is connected.

  1. Make sure the printer is not connect with a USB cable.

    NOTE:

When a USB cable is connected to the printer, the printer cannot connect to Web Services.

  2. If you are using a wireless router, check your router’s documentation or support website to make sure it meets the following requirements:

    • Check the router band: Many routers can operate in both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz frequency bands, but not all HP printers support both bands. Make sure the 2.4 GHz router band is enabled and broadcasting. If the router broadcasts separate network names (SSIDs) for each band, connect the printer to the 2.4 GHz band SSID. If the printer supports 5.0 GHz, connect it to the 5.0 GHz band SSID.

    • Bonjour support (Mac only): HP recommends routers that support Bonjour, Apple's network discovery software. Connecting with Bonjour is the best way to find the printer and support wireless printing.

  3. Make sure your printer is not connected to a guest or host network, such as those networks found in schools, hotels, or home networks that allow guest logins. For more information see Can't Print on a Guest or Host Network.

  4. Confirm the printer is connected to the network.

    • Wireless network connection: On the printer, open the Wireless Network or Settings menu to verify the wireless feature is turned on, and then make sure the Wireless icon  light is solid and blue.

If the wireless light is blue and blinks, move the computer and printer closer to the router, position the devices away from large metal objects such as bookcases, and move the printer away from devices that emit radio signals such as microwaves and cordless phones. Reconnect the printer to your network, and then make sure the wireless light is blue and solid. If your printer frequently drops the wireless connection, go to Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection for detailed troubleshooting steps.

    • Wired (Ethernet) network connection: Check that the cable is connected to the printer Ethernet port  and to an available port on the router. The green link light should be steady, and the orange activity light should blink when the cable is connected.

Figure : Connect the cable to the printer and to the router

Connect the Ethernet cable to the printer and to the router
  5. On your computer, click the network icon  or  in the menu bar to view the network name and status of the connection.

    • If the selected network is not yours (for instance, if you connected to a neighbor's or a guest network), you must reconnect to your own network before turning on Web Services.

    • If the network signal strength is weak, move the computer and printer closer to the router, position the devices away from large metal objects such as bookcases, and move the printer away from devices that emit radio signals such as microwaves and cordless phones.

    • If the network status is not connected, confirm your network is working correctly, and then check the status again. Make sure a check mark or connected status displays next to the network name.

  6. Try to turn on Web Services.

Also, try the steps 3-7 in the document to resolve Webservice connectivity issue Cannot Connect to Web Services
