The Laserjet 2600N is not printing evenly, with gaps showing on the page. The black cartridge is new, just installed. The three other cartridges are not H/P, but have toner levels at half capacity. The gap appears at the center of the page. Is this something that I can repair myself, or does the printer require professional service?

Can you print a different page such as just a page of text and post it please?

I ran two test pages, and the gap issue I previously reported now seems okay. Its the colors that are not correct. I just installed a new black H/P toner cartridge. the three remaining are not H/P, and have half their amounts left. The toner cartridges are probably three years old. The pages appear black and some cyan, no yellow or magenta. Thanks.
