Paper Jam not clearing

The printer comes up with an error code stating that there is a jam in the paper path. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a paper jam anywhere. I've tried a printer reset, by unplugging the printer for a minimum of 60 seconds, but it instantly comes back up with the same error. Any ideas where I should be looking for jam sensors, or where a piece of paper may be hiding?

you want to check the paper path near the pick up roller and registration assembly (under the toner cartridge).  you can also check the fuser assembly to see if paper is stuck.
