Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to print on 8.5 x 22 paper. Set to manual feed. Still getting paper jam error.

A couple of ideas...

 

I would guess that you have either violated the supported paper size restrictions or the media (kind of paper) is not supported in that size range.

Scroll down to see Media options and supported / custom paper size options.

 

OR

Assuming you have indeed done this before, that is, based on your experience the longer size is supported in spite of any evidence to the contrary, then check your printing preferences (print dialog) to ensure you have selected the appropriate combination of source (tray), Media (kind of paper), and Paper Size (Custom paper size form).

Your options, in this case:

  • Reduce the size of the content to fit on a supported size (for example, 8.5X14 inches)
  • Consider using Adobe Reader DC to print the content in Poster mode - split the content onto more than one sheet of supported paper.

 

PDF files can contain either image data and / or documents and / or mixed content.
