Laserjet mfp 29w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

a piece of paper jammed on the inside of my Laserjet mfp 29w and I tried to pull it out but it ripped, and a piece is now stuck internally. I've unplugged the printer, powered off, etc, but still get the Error 6 message. How do I get to that internal piece?!?!?!??!

Thanks for your help!

When you turn the printer OFF and the ON with installed toner will printer start to rotate and ejects that piece of paper or you have no rotation and 06 on the screen?

You need to use small pliers to gently pull the stuck paper out if the printer doesn't eject by itself. If you are going to use a tool don't push the tool too much inside you will damage the printer, and don't pull from one side only, pull one side then pull the opposite side of the paper and it will come out.

Hi,

If you could take a photo of interior of the printer and post here so we can see maybe someone will give you some help. Removing a torn piece of paper is always a tricky job.

You have a camera icon to insert photos from your computer.

Hi, thanks for helping me. I know you can't see the paper, but it's in there. It's very tiny.

Got it the piece of paper out! I was looking for it in the roller, instead, it was stuck up higher in the feeder. Thank you so much for your help!
