The paper tray is stuck and can't get it out.

Sometimes the metal lift tray that the paper rests on does not retract properly when you pull on the tray. Best solution is  turn printer around and have a look at the tray from the back, there is a flap you can lift so you can see what is going on as someone pulls the tray. If the metal tray is not dropping down, you many be able to push it down enough to get the tray out but reaching in the back and pushing down on the metal tray.
